Description
SYNOPSIS: Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao, Visayas, and Palawan. Easterlies affecting the rest of the country.
Area: Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao
Weather Condition: Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms
Caused By: ITCZ
Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Area: Metro Manila and the rest of the country
Weather Condition: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers
Caused By: Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms
Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms
Region IX
• A total of 1,830 families in 10 Barangays in Zamboanga City were affected. Per Zamboanga CDRRMO, affected residents were not brought to designated
evacuation centers. They just waited for the water to subside.
Region XII
• A total of 3,971 families with 18,131 persons were affected in the Provinces of Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and General Santos City.
BARMM
• A total of 5,750 families in 12 barangays in were affected.
• Damage cost to agricultural sector with an estimated amount of Php 600,000.00 according to the report of the farmers cooperatives. On going verification and validation.
• MDRRMOC Matanog reported possible crop damage but have no estimation as of reporting period.
