Description
- As of 2 October 2025, floods and flashfloods affected 10 provinces in Lao PDR: Vientiane Capital, Houaphanh, Xayaboury, Xiengkhouang, Vientiane. Bolikhamxay, Savannakhet, Champasak, Attapeu, and Xaysomboun.
- Approximately 3,118 families (17,202 people) were affected, with 4 deaths, 4 missing, and 3 injured.
- Around 4,100 hectares of agriculture and forested areas damaged, mostly in Savannakhet and Xiengkhouang Provinces.
- 14 houses totally damaged and 41 houses partially damaged. 15 village roads affected along with 4 bridges across the 10 provinces.
- Estimated losses and damages amount to 1.5 billion kip
